So, life.

What’s new with you? Anything exciting? Seen any good movies? Played any games? Met new people?
My life is insane. In a good way, of course…
I mean, is it really so bad to be this busy? Honestly, I find my best work is produced under pressure! Not that I’m advocating for procrastination here – if I could curb the habit easily I would BUT… these things take time.

I’ve been working on a plethora of new (and old) projects so my time on here has been limited. However, I need to make an effort on here – not just for my Digital Contexts class but also for myself. I’d be lying if I said this blog doesn’t mean a lot to me: when I started it I needed the space to express myself and post my writing – this blog was fundamental. And I started it at a time in my life that was a turning point of sorts, unsure of what I wanted to do other than writing.
Now, I’m copywriting for my friend Mimi’s company, Wonder Woman Consulting!
To say that I am amazed by where I find myself – the path I’m on, the work I’m doing, the people I’m interacting with – would be a severe understatement.
I also applied for the position of Events and Fundraising coordinator for the English Student Association (ESA). Much to my delight, I was chosen as one of two people to fill the position!!! My gratitude for that is brimming. What a phenomenal chance to interact with my peers / fellow writers and listen to what they’re writing. I look forward to many more years as a member (if not an executive) of the ESA.
Other than those two things, I’ve just been widdling away my course requirements. I should be finished my Honors Bachelor by the beginning of December and poised to start my Master’s degree in January!
Needless to say, I’m ready to GET A MOVE ON!!! I just want to start my Master’s… but I have much still to learn, I know.
Here’s to my continued survival as the marathon continues!
As always, wish me luck and stay golden!
